    Sending Out An SOS

Hello. I removed your request from Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration as it was obviously premature; please try the other steps of dispute resolution first. Thanks. —No-One ''Jones'' (m) 04:11, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC) And I moved it to User:RickK's talk page so he can see it. [User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk)] 04:18, Oct 27, 2004 (UTC) On my talk page, you wrote: ''RickK blocked me illegally either serve the warrent or BAN ME!'' :That's not the way it works. The arbitration committee is the court of last resort; the ''first'' resort, which I notice you haven't tried yet, is talking to the other parties in the dispute. Since you haven't even edited RickK's talk page, your request for arbitration is premature and will be removed as frivolous. —No-One ''Jones'' (m) 04:19, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC) ::If you want help in pursuing your grievance, you might try looking at Wikipedia:Association of Members' Advocates. You could probably find someone to give you advice about Wikipedia procedures. Incessantly reverting on the Requests for Arbitration is unlikely to accomplish anything. JamesMLane 04:33, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC) Your request for assistance has been noted. We will work to help you in your grievance case. Wert

Why don't you start being civilized? Attacking anonymous users is not going to help the site. 63.230.158.214 Agreed--···---··· 03:53, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC) I did not attack anyone. I welcome anonymous users as editors of articles, but when there's a question of one person's testimony against another's and one is anonymous and the other identified, then I am inclined to disregard the anonymous one. That's what happened. That is not an "attack". Michael Hardy 18:38, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)

    Send In The Clowns

"Send in the Clowns" is a song by Stephen Sondheim, from the 1973 musical ''A Little Night Music''. Of Stephen Sondheim's more than 800 songs, this is the one that became a megahit. It achieved popularity with recordings by Frank Sinatra and, later, Judy Collins. Sondheim added a verse for a 1985 Barbra Streisand recording. The song was written for actress Glynis Johns, who had a breathy voice and a limited tessitura—Sondheim wrote the song with short phrases and a small music range (only about an octave). The title refers to a phrase reputedly used in a circus when an unforeseen disaster had occurred, with the clowns being sent in to distract the audience from the problem. Alternatively, the title could refer to the practice in vaudeville theatre of sending the clowns on to the stage to distract the audience after a particularly bad act. Category:Songs from musicals
